Privacy Policy

Kutils ("the Service") values your privacy and complies with South Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and related regulations, as the operator is based in South Korea. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Service collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
1. Information We Collect
1-1. Automatically Collected Information (Web & App)
- Connection data: IP address, access date/time, browser/app version, operating system (User-Agent), page visited
- Usage pattern data: Referrer, time spent on page, screen size (width/height in pixels). Used for statistics and service improvement; does not identify individuals.
- Country information: Country code automatically determined from IP address via Cloudflare (e.g. KR, US). Cannot identify individuals.
- Session ID: An anonymous UUID stored in the device's localStorage. Cannot identify individuals. Used to analyze usage patterns across pages, games, and tools. Deleted when browser data or the app is deleted.
* The usage pattern data above is used only for statistical analysis and personalized messaging, and is never linked to advertising identifiers. Inference is processed on-device only and no separate personal profile is stored on our servers.
1-2. Information You Provide Directly
- Ranking nickname: A nickname (up to 12 characters) you enter when registering for a game's global leaderboard. Stored on the server together with score, date, and country code.
- Login information: An email address (optional) for certain features. When using Google social login, we receive the basic profile information Google provides (name, email, profile photo).
1-3. Information We Do Not Collect
The Service can be used without registering an account, and we do not collect national ID numbers, financial information, or other sensitive personal data. In-game calculation results (salary, BMI, etc.) are processed only on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
2. App Permissions
The Kutils Android app uses only the following permissions:

We do not request sensitive permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
3. Purpose of Use
- Providing and operating the Service (games, calculators, utilities)
- Operating global game leaderboards
- Improving service quality and anonymous statistical analysis
- Serving ads (Google AdSense · Google AdMob)
- Preventing fraud and maintaining security
4. Retention Period

5. Third-Party Services
The Service uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdSense / AdMob — Ad serving. May use cookies and advertising IDs to show interest-based ads. Google Ads Policy

- Google Analytics (optional) — Anonymous visit statistics. Google Privacy Policy
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
The Service does not, as a rule, disclose your personal information to outside parties, except where required by law or upon a lawful request from an investigative authority.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
The Service uses cookies and local storage for the following purposes:
- Saving dark mode and language preferences
- Saving game high scores and progress (processed on-device)
- Storing an anonymous session ID (cannot identify individuals)
- Ad optimization (Google AdSense cookies)
You can delete these at any time via your browser settings or by clearing app data. Doing so may reset your saved game progress.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 14. Entering a ranking nickname is voluntary, and we advise against entering directly identifying information. Parents with questions about their child's personal information may contact us at the email below.
9. Your Rights
You may exercise the following rights:
- Right to access: Request to review your personal information we hold
- Right to correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to deletion: Request deletion of submitted information such as your ranking nickname
- Right to restrict processing: Request that we stop processing your personal information

12. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in law or the Service. We will provide advance notice of material changes via an app update or service notice. Changes take effect as of their stated effective date.
