Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Kutils ("the Site") and users of the online services it provides, along with other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" means all online tools (calculators, games, utilities, etc.) provided by the Site.
  2. "User" means any person who uses the Service provided by the Site under these Terms.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

  1. These Terms take effect upon being posted on the Site.
  2. The Site may amend these Terms for reasonable cause, and amended Terms take effect upon being posted on the Site.
  3. Users who do not agree to amended Terms may discontinue use of the Service.

Article 4 (Provision of Service)

  1. The Site provides the following services free of charge:
    • Various calculators (DSR, salary, severance pay, BMI, etc.)
    • Web games (2048, Tetris, Snake, Minesweeper, typing practice, etc.)
    • Online utilities (QR generator, character counter, color converter, password generator, Base64 converter, JSON formatter, etc.)
  2. The Service is generally provided 24/7, but may be temporarily suspended for system maintenance or similar reasons.

Article 5 (Use of Service)

  1. Anyone may use the Service without creating an account.
  2. Users shall not engage in the following while using the Service:
    • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
    • Engaging in illegal activity using the Service
    • Defaming others or infringing on their rights
    • Reverse engineering, copying, or modifying the Service
    • Excessive access using automated means

Article 6 (Responsibility for Service Results)

  1. Results provided by the calculators and tools on the Site are for reference only, and their accuracy is not guaranteed.
  2. Please consult a qualified professional for financial, tax, or health-related calculations.
  3. Users bear final responsibility for the results of using the Service.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)

  1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the content of the Service belong to the Site.
  2. Users may not use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without the Site's prior consent.

Article 8 (Advertising)

  1. The Site may display advertisements to support the operation of the Service.
  2. Responsibility for advertising content lies with the respective advertiser; the Site is not liable for any damages arising from ads.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Site is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, such as natural disasters or system failures.
  2. The Site is not liable for service disruptions attributable to the user.
  3. The Site is not liable if a user fails to obtain the results they expected from using the Service.
  4. The Site is not liable for the reliability or accuracy of information or materials posted by users on the Service.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. Disputes arising from use of the Service shall be resolved through mutual consultation.
  2. If consultation fails, disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction under the laws of the Republic of Korea, as the Service operator is based in South Korea.
